Ravings From The Bog

Apple Ripens, While Traffic Taliban Reap Their Harvest!

Not long now…

The long-awaited Belfast Apple store will be opening in Victoria Square at the end of this month.

That’s only two decent reasons (Apple & Nandos) to visit VS and one very good reason not to – the obscene cost of parking in Belfast city centre.

Anyone else noticed the conflict of interest in giving National Car Parks the contract to run the Traffic Taliban service? Between the vested interests in local government and NCP, after a few years, there will be no free parking for anyone without a disabled card in any town in Northern Ireland – that’s when NCP will really clean up and raise their prices, and our local scamsters, sorry, politicians, get seats on the board.

It’s almost enough to drive someone onto a Translink train or bus if it wasn’t for the fact that the Translink monopoly has been taking the piss for years with prices – but that’s another post..

We where there this morning and it was welcomed sight to Northern Ireland. There was great banter in the queue as we hung out with our Apple enthusiasts.
