Tony Hart Dies At 83 He Will Be Missed!

He will be missed!Many of us remember with affection the TV programme from the Sixties and Seventies, Vision On. At centre stage, the immensely talented Tony Hart had us all enthralled with his skills and made art seem something within everyone’s grasp. Loved it! RIP

I heard this on the radio earlier this evening.

Tony Hart hada profound effect on most kids of my generation. As you say, Raver,he made art fun and accessible.

His ‘Morph’ character in claymation provided the inspiration for Nick Park to start mucking about with plasticine, and is still good kids (and adults…) viewing today.

Vision On was groundbreaking telly, although we probably didn’t appreciate it at the time.

RIP indeed.
